At First Methodist Church, we believe that students are a vital part of the life of the church. They are not just the next generation; they are the generation of the church NOW. Our youth team seeks to help students discover life in Christ and find their place in the Church.
Youth is for students grades 6-12.
Meetings/Activities
Wednesday Night Youth, 6:15-7:15 pm*
During the school year, our student ministry for grades 6-12 meets on Wednesday nights following dinner. We play games, sing a worship song, and have a Bible study.
Special Events
Throughout the year, our students participate in a number of events. They serve with our Vacation Bible School, go to M28 Camp in Lake Junaluska, North Carolina, and have a winter retreat. We also participate in a number of District Youth gatherings. Follow our social media or check the church calendar for more info.
