Sundays
Sunday School at 8:45 am – We have Sunday School for adults, nursery, and children. We have several options for adults to choose from, including a women’s group, a men’s group, and an open group. Contact info@fmcbayminette.org for more info.
Sunday Worship Service at 10:00 am – Our 10 am Service is a traditional Methodist service. Our choir and music director lead us in music from the hymnal, we recite the Apostle’s Creed and say the Lord’s Prayer together, and we hear a sermon grounded in the Word of God. Everything we do in the service is in our Order of Worship, which you can pick up from a greeter in the Narthex (sanctuary lobby) before the service. On the first Sunday of every month, we receive Holy Communion. We have an “open table,” which means that anyone is welcome to receive, regardless of religious affiliation. All you need is a heart open to Christ.
During the Week
Monday Prayer Group at 12:00 pm – Every Monday at 12, our church gathers in the chapel for a time of prayer for our church and community.
Wednesday Morning Biscuits, Bacon, & Bible Study, 7:00 am* – Join us for Bible study and Breakfast on Thursdays at 7:00 a.m. in the Fellowship Hall.
Wednesday Night Chapel at 5:15 pm* – During the school year, we meet in our chapel for a simple 20-minute service with prayer, song, devotional, and Communion. We do not offer nursery during Chapel, but little ones are welcome! Following chapel, we go to the Fellowship Hall for Wednesday Night Supper.
Wednesday Night Supper at 5:35 pm* – During the school year, we share a delicious meal together in the Fellowship Hall. Dinner is $5 for adults and free for children, youth, and first-time guests.
Wednesday Night Youth, 6:15-7:15 pm* – During the school year, our student ministry for grades 6-12 meets on Wednesday nights following
Wednesday Night Choir Practice, 6:30-7:30 pm – Our incredible choir practices every Wednesday night, and singers of all levels are invited to join weekly or for special events. The choir has a great time together and leads us in wonderful worship. They meet in Room 107.

Logistics
What to Wear
Even though our 10am service is traditional, we are a “come as you are” church. People come dressed in a variety of clothes, from casual clothes to business attire. Please join us in the clothes that you feel comfortable in!
Where to Park
We have a parking lot across from the sanctuary at 204 W Second Street, but there is ample street parking around the church building. Enter through the sanctuary front doors and find a greeter for directions.
Kids Activities
Nursery - Nursery is available for kids 4 and under on Sunday mornings for Sunday School and Worship from 8:30-11:15 with paid nursery staff. The nursery is in the classrooms behind the sanctuary. Ask a greeter for directions. We do not offer nursery during Wednesday Night Chapel, but little ones are welcome!
Children’s Church - Children’s Church is for 4-year-olds through grade 5. They do a craft and have a Bible lesson. It happens every Sunday except First Sunday, when we receive Communion. Bring your child to worship with you, and Children’s Church participants will be dismissed before the sermon to go with their leaders to Children’s Church, located just steps from our sanctuary. Parents/ guardians can pick them up there after the service.
Children’s Sunday School, 8:45-9:45 – During the school year, we have Children’s Sunday School for 4-year-olds through 5th grade. Kids have music, games, and a Bible lesson.
