At First Methodist Church, we believe that we need others to help us connect to life in Christ. We provide several opportunities for adults to grow in their faith and get to know other Christians beyond worship. Reach out to info@fmcbayminette.org if you have any questions.
Small Groups
We offer several options on a seasonal basis for adult groups. Some of these meet at the church, and others are in people’s homes. These are a great place to start for getting plugged into our church. Sign up here to join one.
Sunday School at 8:45am
We have Sunday School for adults, nursery, and children. We have several options for adults to choose from, including a women’s group, a men’s group, and an open group. Contact info@fmcbayminette.org for more info.
Monday Prayer Group at 12pm
Every Monday at 12, our church gathers in the chapel for a time of prayer for our church and community.
Wednesday Morning Biscuits, Bacon, Bible Study, 7:00 am*
Join us for Bible study and breakfast on Thursdays at 7:00 a.m. in the Fellowship Hall.
Wednesday Night Chapel at 5:15pm*
During the school year, we meet in our chapel for a simple 20-minute service with prayer, song, devotional, and Communion. We do not offer nursery during Chapel, but little ones are welcome! Following chapel, we go to the Fellowship Hall for Wednesday Night Supper.
Wednesday Night Supper at 5:35 pm*
During the school year, we share a delicious meal together in the Fellowship Hall. Dinner is $5 requested donation for adults and free for children, youth, and first-time guests.
Wednesday Night Choir Practice, 6:30-7:30 pm
Our incredible choir practices every Wednesday night, and singers of all levels are invited to join weekly or for special events. The choir has a great time together and leads us in wonderful worship. They meet in Room 107.
